Job Aid

Below is a job aid I created to put in my classroom in order to provide my students with strategies and a secluded area when stressful situations arise. I utilized https://venngage.com/blog/job-aid/ to create my chart. I also utilized the software Gimkit to manipulate and create the writing around the star with the "breathe in" and "breath out" strategy.

The principles I kept in mind while creating this job aid was the redundancy principle as discussed in Multimedia Learning by Mayer (1). I wanted to make sure I was not repeating words or adding frustration to the situation. I wanted to keep the job aid calming with the blue tones and simple outline.
